Your home is the center of your daily life, and likely your most valuable asset. When your home is damaged or destroyed, you need your claim settled by an insurance company YOU trust! Dasher Insurance can help you find the insurance policy that will best meet your needs and provide you with tailored coverage, quality service and fair pricing.
It is important to know that homeowners insurance is meant to cover unexpected damage, not routine maintenance. Be sure to read your policy so you know exactly what's included and what is not. How much you'll pay for your policy depends on the options you select, your coverage limits, and your deductible. Because everyone's needs are not the same, it is best to contact an agent to help assess your needs and find the right insurance policy for you.
Homeowners Insurance (HO-3)
Homeowners insurance provides financial protection against disasters. A standard policy insures the home itself and the things you keep in it. Homeowners insurance is a package policy. This means that it covers both damage to your property and your liability or legal responsibility for any injuries and property damage you or members of your family cause to other people. Like your home itself, a homeowners policy can be tailored and personalized to fit your needs.
Mobile Home Insurance
When your mobile home is damaged or destroyed, you need your claim settled quickly and efficiently by an insurance company you can trust. At Dasher Insurance, we represent several companies that specialize in mobile home insurance. This gives you a choice and allows us to find a company that will best meet your needs and provide you with quality service and fair pricing.
Renters Insurance (HO-4)
Your apartment is your home. If you rent an apartment or house you need insurance to protect your belongings. Although your landlord probably has insurance, it only protects the building. Your belongings are not covered under those policies. Play it safe. Protect the things your landlord won't cover.
Condo Insurance (HO-6)
If you own a condo or townhouse, you have different insurance needs than the typical homeowner. Although your association dues help pay for upkeep of the common areas and the overall structure of the building, they do not typically cover your personal property within your own unit, or your liability if someone is injured on your property. Condominium insurance is unique. Your condo insurance policy covers your personal property and liability, as well as any additions, alterations and improvements you make to your unit that are your responsibility based on the condo association agreement.
Landlord/Rental Insurance (DP1-3)
Rental Insurance (also known as Dwelling Fire Insurance) can protect your rental property from damage and yourself from liability. Dwelling Fire insurance covers all fixed structures such as the home itself, the foundation, cabinets, walls, etc.. These policies are for homes that are NOT occupied by the owner. We represent many companies that specialize in this type of insurance. This means that with Dasher Insurance, you can rent your property out with confidence.
*Damage caused by most disasters is covered, but there are exceptions. The most significant are damage caused by floods, earthquakes and poor maintenance. You must buy two separate policies for flood insurance
and earthquake coverage. Maintenance-related problems are the homeowners' responsibility, and are NOT covered by insurance.
